Die Enwickler von Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds haben ein neues Update für die Testserver auf den Weg gebracht, welches einige Probleme löst und ein neues Feature integriert, das es euch ermöglicht Replays in der Lobby anzusehen. Das Update bringt natürlich auch allerhand Fixes mit sich. Die Entwickler haben zusätzlich die Wahrscheinlichkeit erhöht in der die Wüstemap geladen wird und sich dazu geäußert wie man künftig die Map eventuell aussuchen kann. Bisher entscheidet das Spiel zufällig welche Map gespielt wird. Aufgrund des Community Feedbacks will man nun prüfen wie man den Spielern die Wahl zwischen den beiden Maps „Miramar“ & „Erangel“ geben wird.
Die Intension der Entwickler hinter dem aktuell verwendeten System war, dass man sicherstellen will, dass egal wo auf der Welt 24 Stunden und 7 Tage die Woche ein Spiel mit bis zu 100 Spielern sehr schnell zu Stande kommt und man nicht ewig auf den Spielbeginn wartet. Künftig und nachdem alle technischen und Performance Probleme behoben worden sind, wird man dann auch die Mapauswahl als Feature mit integrieren.
Auch zum Thema Serverperformance äußeren sich die Entwickler. Den Entwicklern ist natürlich nicht entgangen, dass viele Spieler mit starken Lags, vor allem zu Beginn einer Runde, zu kämpfen haben. Dieses Problem soll vor allem durch Highping Spieler zu Stande kommen. Derzeit entwickelt man daher eine Pinglock Funktion, die es nicht erlaubt mit einem von den Entwicklern definierten Ping auf Servern zu spielen, die ggf. nicht in der eigenen Region sind.

- Added replay function which can record up to 1km around the character
- Please enable the replay saving in Options before you enter a match
- When the game ends, the replay will be saved and can be played on “Lobby – Replays” menu
- Up to 20 replays can be saved. They will be automatically deleted in the oldest order when the number exceeds 20

- Fixed the issue where a character was not visible or sound came first when killcam was played
- Fixed the issue where if a character was more than 400m away, they seemed to be shooting through a closed door even when the door was open
- Fixed the issue where the camera would show the inside of a character’s face
- Fixed the issue where when the inventory was full, player could not drop or replace AR quickdraw magazines
